We place candidates into temp and permanent roles — predominantly in construction. Every placement is backed by training, development and clear standards.

A portion of every placement goes back to the candidate's club — supporting sponsorship, development and player welfare. No club? It goes into a training or charity pot.

Built on the ethos of a sports team
Front Row Academy was founded by Charlie Beech alongside Alexandra Kent and Ami-Louise Jackson. We're part of Front Row Support — a business community built on the ethos of a sports team.
Charlie is a semi-retired professional rugby player with a mission to support players transitioning from professional sport into the working world. Alexandra and Ami-Lou are entrepreneurs with backgrounds in construction, recruitment and business development. Together they formed the Academy.
The Academy isn't just for professional players. We support grassroots clubs throughout rugby — from juniors to first teams. Every candidate gets development, training and clear standards, giving them a smoother transition and giving contractors reliable, hard-working staff.
With a broad pool of skills, roles can often be filled quickly — reducing downtime when you're short-staffed. And alongside placements, our in-house team of specialised tradespeople works on commercial and domestic projects for homeowners, developers, maintenance companies and more.
